Couleur sombre, intense, belle et pourpre. Nez intense, fruité, mûr, truffé et plutôt fin. Un Château Valandraud 2016 un peu plus aromatique que de coutume, moelleux comme jamais à l’attaque, très savoureux, le Valandraud 2016 fond au palais, gracieux et pulpeux sans aucune dureté finale. Un changement heureux dans la nuance de l’extraction. Un nouveau challenge pour aller crescendo dans ce sens !

The deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Valandraud packs a wallop on the nose with bombastic scents of baked black plums, cherry compote, coffee beans and licorice plus hints of hoisin, cedar chest and sautéed herbs. Full-bodied, rich and decadent in the mouth, it has a firm frame of grainy tannins and a fantastically long finish. Lisa Perrotti-Brown
